A review of My very first bike, A new Honda CBF125 M9 in Space Silver Metallic. Bought brand new in late 2008 early 2009, running on a 58 plate reg. Passed my test on this bike and never had any problems with it. Used every day since I bought it and had covered just over 7800 miles when I sold it. Great bike for learners or communters alike, still very capable of touring on, did a wee trip from Glasgow to Glencoe in one day and back with a full tank of petrol (£10 worth) Just over 250 miles (Brilliant)
Would Highly recommend to anyone :)

Good points:

Cheap to run and Insure
Looks big for a 125cc bike
Value for your money
Everything you want for your first bike or commuting and more...

Bad points: (Only one)

Built to a price, One winter untreated with the salts on the roads and your bike will age dramatically (Keep on top of it) I Used Scottoiler FS365 to stop rusting :)

Video includes Exhaust sound, start-up, wee revs and view all round :)

  • Hi how tall are you?..cause i am 6ft 1 and was wondering is this is the right size for me??

  • @vAce2010 Hi there, I'm 5'7 and the bike was fine for me, could nearly get both feet on the ground flat, everyone is different, some leggier than others. You should be fine with it :)

    Hope that helped :)

  • is it true that this bike has not so good quality? some say its shit that is cheap(parts) all the time... please answer!

  • @MrMopedatv Hi there, as said in the description the bike is built to a price so cheaper materials are used in some places so they can sell you a cheaper bike, it can rust a bit quicker than a genuine built Honda from Japan as the CBF 125 is built in India with cheaper materials to save money.

It won't rust as fast if you take care of it and protect it when the salt comes, e.g. Scottoiler FS365

    Hope that helps :)

  • Where did you buy this ?

  • @jamesgillman1 Hi, Victor Devine Motorcycles, Glasgow

It was the first Silver one to come from the showroom :)
