I have rabbits. I think the rabbit would be able to play a lot more if he had some more carpet or anything else besides hardwood floor to run on. You can tell he wants to run, but it's very difficult when he has no grip on the hardwood. I had to do the same thing on my hardwood, just use more of those doormat things, or even better a cheap runner you can put away when you want to, and you will see how much more they will move and play. Cute pets!
