Exactly, because suddenly you would realize that a totalitarian monster with no ethics whatsoever created the universe as his personal puppet show, and that unless you enslave yourself to him you are destined to roast in agony for eternity. Realizing that such a being DID exist would be truly horrifying, and if christians had any moral fiber at all they would not worship such a being whether he existed or not.

Lol. First, many many people have died for things over history. Millions have. Jesus being crucified was a hugely mundane event.
Second, him 'dying for me' is ridiculous. I was not born until roughly 2000 years later. And I'm still going to hell anyway if that God exists, so I must wonder what it is he supposedly died for - was it the ridiculous notion of inherited sin that his religion already made up?
If your god can strike me down, I dare him to. I have many times.

@PerfectCharity according to the Bible, thats exactly the case. But usually if ur the type of person to not to good and do bad things becuhz Jesus is ur excuse to do so since youl get into heaven anyway, i doubt you even believe. hopefully that awnsers ur question

its simple- god come down show yourself - proclaim the christians as right- end of story- then if anyone chooses to not beleive then they have no excuse- But the all powerful god clearly has no common sense and likes to watch people kill each other over beliefs- im just a human and how come it takes me three seconds to figure out how to end misery and religous fighting- maybe i should start my own religion like the mormons- always liked the magic underpants!
