  • Hi, great demo on the use of this great tool, im using it right now but i want to actually destroy the badblocks found, just to get the internal hard drive going again im trying to save it before replacing it. (i noted u using badblocks in a non destructive manner i actually want to destroy them badblocks :)

  • This tool is great! It's the best one for finding out whether disks are really faulty or not.

    Btw, 01:03 - I've seen plenty of live environments that automounted disks. (L/X/K/etc.)Ubuntu are very good example of this. You can however umount them manually of course.
