If only all filmmakers slaved over sequels for 11 years worth of development, instead of setting a release date and shovelling any old crap into a script.

I'd say Toy Story is better due to them being original and also being proper sequel as in LOTR was shot all at once, effectively one movie

I love Toy Story Trilogy but would have to say for me Lord of The Rings and the Dollars Trilogy are on the same level or just a little bit better

Same here, I think something that most of these fans are overlooking is that a film like Toy Story 3 is really dime a dozen these days and no longer has the impact of the first 2.

I have to agree that the Toy Story Trilogy is the best trilogy in all time. The only trilogy that is is up for argument is Lord of The Rings.

On the other hand, the thrid part of Nolan's batman trilogy really did fall short. Although it had a proper ending for its trilogy, the overall pacing just wasn't that great. It honestly felt like a four hour movie cut down to three hours.

falls flat in the middle?- I have to disagree with that statement. The Two Towers was actually an improvment over the fellowship with a quiet but brooding tone throughout the first half and escalating climax through the second half. In fact, one of the best things about the LOTR is its sense of momentum throughout the entire trilogy.

Yeah, lotr trilogy is epic, my only problem with it is it falls flat in the middle but these two are so consistent, as it the dollars trilogy
