This is a good example why azureus need to be housed in pairs. Notice they are also warning eachother by calling. These are two males fighting after a day of egg laying.
they are housed in a 45 gallon viv

  • How do you know they are fighting and not mating?

I have a azureus that I'm 90% sure is a female. I just added another from which I'm 90% sure is a male. As soon as I put the new guy in, she started following him around everywhere and he started making calls.

    Good sign?

  • @OmerFriedman : good sign. following and doing the "mating dance" as long as no wrestling or food agression is a good sign of a pair

  • females?

  • @pype64 males in the vid usually its females that fight but these two are males. ;)

  • hello, are you currenly selling a pailr of Azureus?.......If so please let me know.

  • @vinamel97 just sold my last pair yesterday. If i have anymore coming up i can let you know :)

  • I want the blue one to win

  • I know from personal experience that this isn't funny, but I can't help but laugh a little. "Feel the power of my choke-hold of death!"

  • besides body shape and toe pads, i know its males because i had seen them both mate with the female :) (Lonelystreetpod)

    @ Zapata lol i doubt it :P

@ nicechewi only poisonous in the wild, in captivity they dont eat the poisonous bugs that make their toxins, so not poisonous ;) one should not handle frogs on bare skin because of our hand oils we naturally have but there are no big precautions, they are a no-touch pet imo. but you won't get hurt if you did :D

@bringer not that i know of in US

  • How do you know if its a male or female?

  • @bringerofclips nah if your doing it small

  • @MWVanishingexotics so you let him know 5 months after he asked nice one dip

  • The bottom one looks like he's enjoying it lol ;)

  • these frogs are poisonous aren't they? so how what precautionary measures do you take? out of curiosity.

  • he's trying to cornhole him
