@sammydrumm YOu will get it eventually when you are ready. It takes time to learn sign language. Don't give up!!!

Here a flip side to this. I was rase by deaf parents. My mother had place mirrors through out the house. Being the youngest of four hearing boys. She was pretty wise to hearing children back talking to adult. Which us kids thought we were smart. Thinking all we would have to do is turn our back to my mom and say whatever want. Well with all the mirror carefully place throughout the house she would see everything we would say.

lol I am hard of hearing & I remember my mom telling my dad to get me an Nintendo for Christmas I look at my dad & said yeah get me an Nintendo for x-mas well they both look at me & my mom ask how did I know she said that cause she did not use her voice & I told her I can read lips she said but how cause I was not facing you? & I said I can read lips from the side of your mouth..My mom & dad were shock & said you can read the side of people mouth? I said sometimes I can!! LOL!!

@MovieMaker5087 Basically, when she was a little girl, she could see her reflection in this china-something set. And so she fooled her mom into thinking that she could hear. She'd look at the reflection, and saw her mom beckoning (or something to the sort), and so she'd turn around. Her mom got her neighbor to see, too. But then, her dad came home, and couldn't believe it. She finally revealed that, Nope, she couldn't hear. And they scolded her for it. It's only Funny if you know ASL.
