For as long as I can remember, maybe even the first iPhone, people have been asking for something like Control Center. Basically, the ability to quickly and easily turn off settings that are used fairly often, but have been buried deep in the settings menu.
It's accessed with a quick swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
You have the option to toggle Airplane mode on/off, Wireless on/off, as well as Bluetooth on/off, Do Not Disturb on/off or set the orientation Lock for the device.
Another nice option is brightness can be controlled here too.
You also have music controls and the new air drop feature, for easy file sharing. You can turn Air Drop off or set it to "contacts only" or "everyone".
You also have a variety of Airplay options. And on the bottom row, you have a new flashlight feature, quick access to alarms, calculator and camera.
All of these are nice features to have quick access to, maybe one of the best features on the new iOS, or at least the most sought after.
