Phoenix all healed up

Phoenix was born with a gastroschisis. His intestines were on the outside of his body when he was born. As you can see from this video, he is doing quite well, and has only a slight abnormal belly button as a reminder.

Wow he is beautiful I have an 18 month old girl that was also born with gastroschisis and she was premature too I was so scared but shes healthy now and I couldn't be happier!! I'm so happy for you and wish you guys the best of luck on your journey in parent hood I know my tiring but wonderful lol. Take care of that one he's a special boy and strong too!

my oldest son ethan was born in 2003 with gastroschisis....... they are miracles!!!

I was born with Gastroschisis in 1983. Their methods of putting Humpty Dumpty back together again look a lot better now! I have an 8 inch long scar on my stomach, and they sewed my belly button shut. I don't mind my battle scars though, if it weren't for them, I wouldn't be here, or I'd be a lot worse off.

I'm glad Pheonix is doing well, and what a beautiful baby!
