@rabautios - These days it's easy with memory on the desks. You could simply set up 1 MAIN band, drums bass keys guitar and vocals and then get the mix for that band and store it in the desks memory 1 slot, then get the next act on using the same gear, or maybe a different guitar and keys and repeat ad infinitum. Then when band 2 comes on stage it's one button press and the mix is there instantly. I don't think they had desks with memory in 86 though, early 90s were the first i believe.
