This is my tribute to the TRUE Metallica. The Metallica that i knew and loved. The Metallica that had an endless burning passion for thrash metal inside of them. The Metallica that weren't greedy pussy music industry pawns. In other words the REAL Metallica. Remember after 1988, "Nothing Else Mattered" R.I.P. Metallica.

It's pathetic what they have become nowadays. And also, my point in this video goes far deeper than just the fact that they chose money over musical integrity. Its your fault if you take a second and actually see the true meaning of what i'm trying to say.

Of course they were making money in the 80's but that wasn't the main focus of their career at all. The main focus back then was the music and not the "Metallica wrist band" or the cool new "Metallica style lunchbox" or the "Metallica signature guitar" or the "Metallica cool new ringtones".

So have your opinion, but at least acknowledge the fact that Metallica decided to go for money and more fame instead of what they truly go into music for in the first place, which was to show the World what they had to say, and they said it hard, loud, fast, aggressive, and relentlessly. Now they are chilling in their huge Mansions snuggled away in Hollywood sipping on wine and thinking of new and more "catchy" songs. So thats my view, just thought i would let you know.

Thrash metal was spawned from the culture, lifestyle, and opinions of a group of people who saw what the World was like, and how the Government fucks us, and how dumbass presidents and corrupt adminstrations send us off to useless money-fueled wars, and archaic laws still opressing what we do that were based on religion and propaganda in the first place. Thrash Metal saw all of this and decided to fight against it and voice their opinions through music.

its not necessarily a bad album. it just wasn't what we expected from Metallica. if a new mainstream band made that album we probably would have loved it.

Basically what im saying is, get over it! They moved on 20 yrs ago, maybe you should accept it. Fair enough, ur "old skool" metallica, but to rip them apart for changing? thats just pointless. How many bands over 20yrs could've changed so drastically and still made it?? (U2, the Stones, Slayer). Metallica made their own way, bent the rules, and are still on top.

for me it's not a case if only after the death of Cliff metallica begin to do "strange metal" different from thrash.. however max rispect for the 4 horsemen! they rulez!
