Soloflex is a heavy duty machine. I had one but had to sell it when moving (had a gym membership then so didn't need it). Was great to add up to 500lb of weights. Never bothered with the fly or leg extension though. Way better than this piece of shit.

I have two of the Nordic Flex Golds for sale listed on Craigs list, Hattiesburg, MS. I have one VHS tape, poster, manual. I believe I have the computer still. Local pick up on cash sale.

@2009McDonald Hi, I'm not looking to buy your machine, cause I already have one, but I bought it second hand, and I can't figure out how to work all the pulley, wondering if you have a video or something that could help me out, thank you. If anyone else could help me with that I would appreciate it, thanks

I was in a mall and a girl asked me to try out the machine. this was a long time ago. Anyways I get under it. I start to push for the bench press and she says you are going too slow. She says the faster you go the better the resistance. I couldnt go fast enough. LOL Just wasnt for me I guess.

I remember seeing this commercial years ago. The motion path would have to be unnatural since it was linear! Also, this was an isokinetic machine meaning it only had resistance on the positive stroke. Half as effective really.

I never had a Nordic Flex gold. It always looked like a rip off to me. Nevertheless, I bought a Soloflex early this year, and I use not only the straps, but I also add free weights to it as well. Let me tell you. The Soloflex machine is awesome!!! Not only do I save money from expensive gym membership fees, but I get some great workouts ever. Check out my personal videos in my account. Soloflex is better. Trust me. I owned both. Once the resistance thing on the nordic is broken, you have a $1500 dollar coat hanger. I paid 200 for fine though. Still have my soloflex.

Soloflex sued the maker of this machine and won the lawsuit, 18 million in 1992. This payout put them out if business. It appears Nordic attempted to steal Soloflex's identity and the jury favored Soloflex's complaint.
Soloflex re-launched the classic Soloflex machine with the wooden bench a couple of days ago. 8
