This is video of Emma Rose, a hedgehog who started showing signs of Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome (WHS) at about 3-months.

This video was taken when Emma Rose was about 7-months old; at that time she was "wobbly" and had trouble with her head bobbing, but once she was able to get to her feet, she'd run for hours. In fact, I set-up her habitat like a race track, so she could run without impediment (she was too wobbly to run in a wheel as she kept falling out) - on a good night she could corner without slowing down!

Emma Rose maintained this level of symptoms for almost a year. But then she started having uterine bleeding and that additional trauma seemed to trigger a fast progression of the WHS symptoms - she went from an activity-level close to what's seen in this video to being almost completely immobilized, as you can see in her other videos.

When Emma Rose died, her body was donated to the Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome Research Project for study. Her necropsy confirmed advanced WHS and severe endometriosis.
