Thanks for making our childhood beautiful.

God I almost can't watch this. This song brought me to tears as a child...my folks couldn't figure out why I always lost it and couldn't finish this movie.

In a way, for continuity this song lines up with the recent movie that just came out.

I'm moving. This song is perfect

@MsDisneyObsessed I saw Muppets take Manhattan last night for the first time in a very long time. I had completely forgotten about "Saying Goodbye". I instantly thought of my dear cat Kit Kat who was put to sleep 2 months ago.The Muppets remind me of her so much, I often considered her to BE a Muppet. We watched the Muppets on YouTube together constantly in the days before she died, including the morning we took her to the vet for the final time. "Wanna smile, wanna cry.." Sigh

The saddest part I find in this song is when Floyd sing "you're in my heart son until then" because his daughter passed away shortly before this movie came out and right around when the previous film (the great muppet caper) came out

This makes me think of my little brother who passed away, I really miss him, but one day we will meet again!
I'm in tears right now watching this, because a dog of mine named Rocky is going to be put down in less than an hour and it's brekaing mine and my mom's heart. We've had him for 17 and a half years. Saying goodbye such a hard thing to say :''(
