I heard this song on the radio a couple of weeks ago and I remembered how much I loved it. The song was from 1967 and was written by Mark Lindsay and Terry Melcher. Just a great pop-rock song that Ian and I had to cover! I screwed the lyrics up a little, but who cares?
Ian used the Rickenbacker 325/1996(double tracked)
I used the Ric 325 for rhythm
Ian played drums and extra drum fills
I played the Rickenbacker 620 for the lead riff and rhythm.
I played the Hofner bass(one clean and one distorted)
Ian played tamborine
I sang all five parts
Recorded on Tascam 2488 neo

Definitely want to, just having a hard time not getting ripped off in my search. In Australia it seems to be the fashion to charge four to six thousand bucks for one. Obscene! The search continues

@rockfan363 Thanks so much! The Ric 325/1996 was $1200.00 with a trade, if I remember correctly. The black 620 was a thousand dollars, I think. I got the 325 when it first came out in 2006. Ric only made it for a year. I picked the 620 up off of ebay....Rick
