@brossen99 I would recommend a look into the machinations of the Carbon Disclosure Project, a supply-chain/ livery-companies monopoly protection racket that has $71 trillion under management. Also, the Green Agenda website has some very good information. Keep up the good fight!

@tubester4567 2007 election - both Coalition & ALP were touting an ETS. In the lead up to Copenhagen in '09 Rudd pushed very hard to get the CPRS in before he went for the benefit of his ego. The Coalition said wait until after Copenhagen is over to see the result. Copenhagen happened but the ideology of a worldwide system failed. Intelligent people said there is no point in Aus doing anything. Gillard knifed Rudd, Abbott rolled Turnbull. The people are still right, but Gillard sold out. The end

@tubester4567 pt2 majority after the election we wouldnt have a carbon price now. The greens forced her hand. Both labor and liberal have been too scared to act on carbon, if you remember Howard said we would have an ETS and many liberals agreed. You only need to look at the right-wing shock jocks, and paid agents of the mining industry (like Monckton) to see why. Unfortunately a lot of people listen to people like Alan Jones and havent studied what the real scientists have to say.

That is the amount of people that still believe a word Labor says.  Julia can't help lying. She reinvents herself daily. I was at school with Julia right through high school at Unley. They will give you the listing of the top 55 companies who have 75% of the carbon market and will most benefit from this sham scheme, Check out how they are the banking elite as well as those drums that keep them going.
