If your mind is working,hp gauge or armor penetration is the same they are both indacates the life of a unit. if u dont want this game or maybe you just dont have a money to buy this game. then dont watch this movie and dont play this game ok? that simplifies your problem you moron.

If you had played this game you would know that is realistic. Infantry can take out a tank by throwing grenades and shooting with rockets when they are close (not only soldiers have panzershrecks or similar weapons). If you think the graphics are dos like, then you should pay a visit to the doctor for your eyes or play the game because viewing it here doesn't help you see clearly.

Yeah, OK, if infantry can't take out a tank, that's fine, but for another tank to tank out another larger tank by just firing enough times isn't realistic.

Look douchebag...if you think infantry taking out a King Tiger with just rifle fire is fun then you're making my point for me.

This is the problem I had with the Sudden Strike games that came a few years ago. I was like WTF when my tanks were being taken out by rifle fire.

Because having a damage model like this, just boils the game down into just another RTS click-fest.

No, I'm not "acting smart"...I am smart and quite knowledgeable.

First of all, I'm quite old enough to remember DOS-based computers...back when Windows was only at Windows 3.x. (Vista is essentially Windows 6)

Secondly, I used to play Combat Mission by Battlefront, and they used sophisticated armor penetration calculations based on angle of attack (of projectile) and location of hit to determine damage. These HP-based games are a joke.
