@truckindawg1 After. It was the school in Memphis that got busted, because TN DOT allowed the school to administer both state driving exams. They were shut down for about 6 months until the state could staff it adequately. We got the overflow. :(

The San Antonio school took us to the TX DOT center, where we filled out official TX forms, took official TX tests on official TX computers, and about 5 members of my class washed out for having official TX warrants for their official TX arrest.

@MrPolishadam one funny story there was a trucker that hammered it down by me as I crossed from Indiana into Ohio. That day I was used as a marker for Ohio Highway Patrol and that was too funny seeing the patrol car zooming past me and pulling that trucker over. So again with great speed comes great responsibility.

@MrPolishadam then the bigger problem at hand are the governed trucks that just don't go with flow of regular traffic and it also pisses me off when they cut you off in the fast lane of traffic trying to get around a vehicle moving slower then they are. Governed trucks can be quite dangerous and at the speed you are going it sucks if you have to slam on it because some slow ass trucker cut you off. Then of course you have the 55 mph states which is a bunch of bullshit.

@MrPolishadam yeah one of the reasons I don't drive for the bigger companies anymore because of the bullshit and not getting the miles and always being up against the clock due to a slow moving truck. They tried to give me a local load in TX once on such short notice and the pick up/delivery time was something like 3 hours governed at 60 mph on TX highways going through every last podunk town. Though on the flip side with great speed & running your truck that high comes a lot of responsibilty

governed yes at big companies, some small companies in case of the one i work for, we have 20 trucks, most governed at 75mph couple including mine are opened up, its a beautifull think coming back hiome on 84 doing 75 to 80 MPh and see the big truck companies dummies just looking nd wishing they could go that fast, its funny ashel

@MrPolishadam the industry is always changing so who knows, one day general freight drivers will make a steady check and perhaps companies will not over hire. Some deserve to go the way of Arrow Trucking. Next time I drive a rig if ever, hopefully it is 18 gears ungoverned where I can make good time. Perhaps by then the price of fuel would've gone down assuming we ever get the right leadership in the country then and only then perhaps everyone will profit and not get ripped off.
