This is a video of Gangai konda cholapuram. The architectural beauty personified. The chola king created this ancient township to commemorate his expansion from South India till Ganges.

  • @ThatHindu also we have had muslims in tamil nadu/kerala almost since the time of Mohammed and they are treated as equals so the animosity between hindus/muslims/christians etc is almost non-existent unlike in north india.

  • @ThatHindu my frend we weren't just "lucky" you should read the history of muslim invasions in the south. they were defeated numerous times and in some areas they never controlled the land till the british/french got there and joined up with them against the local hindu kings.

  • This is one of the symbol of Tamil ruled the world before 1000 years,Built by the great Rajendra Chola 1 son of Great Raja Raja Chola 1

  • My dear friend, this temple also celebrates the invasion of North India.. The name is "Gangai-Konda-Cholapuram". The city of the Chola who conquered the Ganges..

  • what a beautiful temple ! i am amazed. u south indians are so lucky. muslim have destroyed all large and ancient temples of north india. But in south india, the real hindu architecture is there in all its stupendous glory!

Thank you archana, you are very kind. God bless you.
