  • I like the look of this guy, he needs to get in there with one of the klitorinas.

  • Povetkin vs. Klitshko. That would be EXCITING! :D

  • @32GaugeSlug I don't think it will either; Haye sees himself as top-drawer, and I don't think he'll fight again against anyone but a Klitschko. I don't think his performance against Wlad (by far the easier brother to beat) gives him any reason to feel that; I felt like he made no effort to win once it was clear that what he did against Valuev wasn't going to work. I'd have had a lot of respect for him if he'd looked to step in and land big hooks, even if he'd ended up knocked out.

  • @32GaugeSlug Couldn't it be that lots of Eastern Europeans are participating in boxing right now, and a decreasing number of Americans? There's no question that the best heavyweights right now are Eastern Europeans, and that the Klitschkos would give any heavyweight from history a tough night, but I'd find it hard to say that they're a lot better than Ali, Holmes or Lewis. The outstanding fighters from both sides of the world are just that; outstanding.

  • @32GaugeSlug I dunno; Haye is a decent counterpuncher, and Povetkin is his size. I think it'd be a pretty even match, and a step up for Povetkin. If Haye won, however, Povetkin would be the best fighter he's beaten at heavy. I have a suspicion Haye would be too fast; Povetkin looks a bit sluggish here, though he's been quicker in other fights.

  • I'd like to see him against David Haye. If he wins then fight a klitchko

  • @gaksolid I agree with you. Arreola would be a good fight for Povetkin. Arreola is getting better, fighting often and taking gettin in shape alot more serious.

  • @wrey12 The Klitschkos dont back down from anyone. Povetkin had his chance to fight Wlad and his manager didnt think he was ready. I agree with Teddy Atlas. Hes not ready.

  • @crowley0312 Well said. Fan-boys and their bias - will their stupidity know no bounds?

  • @wrey12

Are you kidding? Wladimir Klitschko has been trying to get Povetkin to fight him, and all he gets is Teddy Atlas telling him that Povetkin's not ready yet. What's Klitschko supposed to do: he can't FORCE people to fight him.
