Flash Gordon: Akim the Terrible 1/3

I present to you the most ridiculous episode of the most ridiculous show ever to air on television. Sure, Captain Video had worse writing, but that was a kids' show, and at least they invested half a buck in their sets. This is by far the most obnoxious of all the episodes, rivaled only by episode 39, Subworld Revenge, in which the villains manage even stupider accents. Don't misconstrue my feelings toward the show, it is incredibly entertaining. It just makes my profound love for Flash Gordon cringe.

The scenes at the beginning (>1:00), shot in devastated post war Berlin, are fascinating. Anybody knows which street that is? Otherwise: agreed, it's ridiculous.

Yeah, for some reason most of the alien worlds in this show were filmed in the rubble of bombed buildings. Strange. It's probably impossible to find out what street that is.
