PH-AJU (N39165) starting up it's engines at Midden-Zeeland (EHMZ) 2 august 2009 after it's two-day static display as part of the BankGiro Loterij Airtour 2009. This DC-2 is the only flying DC-2 left in the world today. Although it's actual registration is N39165, it carries the registration PH-AJU after the DC-2 "Uiver" (Stork) that won the handicap section of the MacRobertson Air Race between London and Melbourne in October 1934.
