My first Mario Paint Compostion done in Advanced Mario Sequencer!!! *cheers*
I'm really proud of myself for just having the courage to upload this for all to see. Yet there are a ton of first time errors and flaws that I think are very noticeable...
This was made using the feature in FordPerfect's Beta Release 3.2 of AMS in which one can create their own "custom" soundset by combining the instruments of other soundsets loaded into the program. Thus this was made from Gallahaut's Steinway Piano soundset, Desseler4's String Soundset, and Cat333Pokemon's Real Symphony soundset. I took the piano instrument from both Desseler's and Cat's substituting them respectively for the Mario Head, Mushroom, and Boo, also taking Cat's Flute for the Yoshi.
Most of this is done by ear, well at least the piano right hand, and the flute part. So I had to reference to my FFVIII Piano Book to figure out the bass. Unfortunately being extremely far from perfect pitch, it was very difficult to do this by ear, and as a result of my failure in this domain, I could not get the light string accompaniment in the background right when the mood changes going into the flute section, which is why I put a short chord in there just so it wouldn't feel so empty. I also screwed up on the timing during the last third of the piece where it there is a low G# with a fermata over the half note before the next note of a G natural... I completely forgot the fermata, and as a result feels very much rushed... XP
Anyways, I hope you enjoy my first composition (if you survived reading my novel of an introduction). Rate and Comment as you feel such.
Edit: Oh yeah, here's the link to the original song for reference if you do not know how it goes.

@Icefire6324 Hey thanks! Yeah, even though I don't have many MPCs, I can sure say that I've improved from this one. If I went back I'd probably be able to fix all my little "mistakes" that I had. xD
Thanks for watching it! :D Make sure to check out my other ones, and a soon to be released one some time later today, if you have the time. =)

Kudos for the courage of uploading this : the first composition is always a moment filled with nervosity.
I'm really not familiar with the song, but I guess you made an accurate analysis of your work in the description. Honestly though, it's still very enjoyable at all and it's really well done for a first try!
I see that you showed attention to articulation and the notes' length with the muted notes, so congrats!
Very happy to finally hear something from you. Favorited
