he is trying to say that sex was a great thing created by god but if its not done in merrage and not done in a way that pleases god then your only doing it for yourself and you get bored with it because god is not in it. thats why he says save me from myself. idk if that made since at all.. im not the best at explaining things. but i tried.

and he's saying, yeah. it's great. but it's not fufilling.
