I first heard this in `84 on KUSF in SF when I was 14. The DJ played the whole second side. When it was over I found every single penny in the house and went to the worst part of town, stepping over passed out bodies, to get to Rough Trade to purchase this album. I turned all of my mates onto this album.
Brilliant video to go with the music, would never have thought of the tube as such a mysterious and potent backdrop for an unrequited encounter.
