@zibafu I have read countless debates attempting to argue the same idiotic points that have no weight. I am definitely going to claim bullshit, for the simple reason that statutes are completely enforceable. There is absolutely zero evidence to counter that. We live in a country of which nearly all of the law is statute. The police and the Courts enforce statute on a daily basis. Case law dictates that statute is completely enforceable as well, so there is no basis for argument whatsoever.

@007RoyalFlush well that ofc is just your opinion which your entitled too, I assume you did at least read what I suggested, which incidentally ends up in quite a very interesting debate between police officers on a forum (that page being an actual police forum)

On another note, I do know a magistrate judge myself (obviously cannot prove it to you here so you can claim bullsh*t if you like) whom I did have a conversation about this stuff and his response was "statutes aren't enforcable"

@zibafu People have attempted to debate this with me but failed. There is no difference at all. They both mean "In line with what is permitted by the law". The "theory" around the difference stems from the false belief that statutes are not laws.

How is it the video cuts off before she has chance to respond, now I dislike most pcso's as it is primarily because I skateboard and therefore end up with them moaning at us quite a lot anyhow, but this lady seemed quite reasonable, for all we know she answered your question in quite a good way, yet you cut the video off before the conversation was over.

Theres an article there thats actually an interesting read, but the dude writing explains the difference about...a third of the way down, a paragraph titled "lawful and legal" worth checking out

@clkwze There is no difference between lawful and legal therefore there is nothing to distinguish as to which carries more weight because they both mean the same thing.
