  • @jualkyn If they killed their hostages...especially a roman aristocrat...they would not recive anymore ransom for future hostages

  • im surprised the pirates let him go after receiving the ransom o.o you would think they would have killed him to make sure his threat didn'tt come true. then they would not have been crucified

  • @Rainbowshow Close but far...to a Roman Optimate/Noble the rank was Honor, Glory, Power, Money...Power and money usually came from the thirst for Honor and Glory..i.e. War...Women for Caesar were part power part glory part honor esp. over his enemies. Marriage was built-in of course, because the family was paramount.

  • he does not have to be that attractive money, power, women in that order.
