  • No offence but farmville is the worst videogame i ever saw in my entire life. The first videogame in history was funnyer

  • @tgmiki96: yeah, but it's an important game because it shows the possibilities of social network-gaming (and how to make money with it...)

  • as much as i hate world of warcraft, i'm surprised it's not in here

  • @Kimpermaans: check #40 again! :)

  • I would've taken out Castlevania, Rayman, Farmville, maybe even Bioshock. As much as Bioshock was a great game, it didn't really do anything that might have been considered "important" in gaming history...prove me wrong if you want.

I just think or a list with the most "important" games, it's kind of strange not to see Mortal Kombat, Quake, Half-Life and EverQuest on there.

  • @spo0o0ky: for me, BioShock set new high standards for video game story telling... I agree that Rayman and Farmville are questionable, but I consider Castlevania important as start of a very big franchise... Furthermore, Mortal Kombat was very close to getting into this list, and Half-Life 2 takes the honors for all Half-Life games :)

  • huge omission made..Mortal Kombat was a cultural phenomenon.

  • FarmVille ? Really meh spose

  • What it the music used ? I like it =D

  • @TheRaretunes X-com & unreal tournament > sims

  • Um I like how you completely missed Flight Simulators like Star Wars X-Wing. Also, I'm pretty sure Counter Strike should be on that list as that was way bigger then Sim City. As far as most important, EQ started MMOs, I think that is more important than WoW. Now if you were making a "most popular" then I'd understand how WoW took the spot over EQ but Counter Strike should still be on the list.

  • where is one of the big ones?? Crash Bandicoot? anyone????

  • No bomberman?

  • I think quake and morrowind should be on there for sure.
