If it's any consolation, the USA has bailed the world out of two world wars, multiple smaller countries out of other wars, and will never be invaded because they're one of the few countries where civilians aren't likely to roll over and take it.

That and fully automatic weapons aren't illegal in most of the States, they usually have civilian versions which are semi automatic only. Any fully automatics used in crime will be illegal modifications

For some reason, the report from this weapon seems uncommonly ballsy. I don't know if its the actual rifle (short barrel and such), the acoustics of the room, or the mic on the camera they were using (or maybe it is just me), but the bang on this video is an incredibly full and intimidating sound. I like it.

@TheBornAnnoying May I remind you of the Second Amendment and that most gun crimes committed are committed by ILLEGAL weapons? So even if we got rid of the Second Amendment gun crime would still remain do to the black market since if some one were to plan to use a firearm in a crime, laws would be not an barrier but rather just a thorn in their side. If you're so anti-gun, then move to some European country and stay away from these videos and have a nice, quiet life. Please think next time.

@TheBornAnnoying 1) not automatic, semi-auto. 2) Gun crime has dropped steadily, but even faster since the expiration of the AWB (and gun sales have skyrocketed) 3) I bet you don't know what AWB is w/o google.

What did we learn? Increased gun sales (including Machinegun) and decreased gun violence. Hmm, looks like criminals are afraid of attacking potentially armed citizens. Smart move criminals!

@TheBornAnnoying FYI full auto firearms are not illegal in most states and are only taxed on a federal level same for short barrel and silencers. if you can own a firearm you can pay the tax and own just about anything if not prohibited by the state you live in.
