Final Fantasy XIII Adamantoise (No Summon, No Death) with Commentary

Video of one of my Adamantoise kills with step-by-step commentary. No summons or Vanille death method used.
Slight mistake in my commentary: I'm actually killing an AdamanTOISE instead of an AdamanTORTOISE (I didn't know there was a difference). Supposedly the AdamanTORTOISE is easier (less HP), so you should be able to use this same method.

I was beginning to think that i sucked at this game...but i realized i just needed some more CP to get the correct spells in order to beat adamantoises easily :)

So basically I plan to withstand a Quake or two before it falls by having a healthy and buffed party (protectra at least) and also making sure to have haste up before the beast goes down. Also, I have no Genji Glove so I have Fang use commando after staggering the leg at around 400% and after staggering the beast itself at around 600% since then she will almost be hitting for 99999 anyway. Other than those minor adjustments for lower HP and no Genji Glove this video is great!!!!!

My characters aren't as powerful as on the video but have made adjustments to bring the beast down. First of all I do have a level 57 or so Kain's Lance after getting my first trap using a summon (noob style) but now I'm stronger.

I use much the same attack as this guy but I bravera, faithra and protectra with fang and stay above 7-8000 hp then tridisaster a leg. When about 60% I can take it out with Highwind but if I mess up then I plan on Quake coming with the 6th=ish attack with discretion

nice video man. Had to do it without the genji gloves which meant the beast got up after my cerberus but I summoned and took him out. I don't care though because I got my first trapezohedron. I expect that will be the most difficult one anyway so thanks for the video.

Thanks for the video... finally one that is clear and specific. I wish the characters could actually move as fast as your Fang does in fast forward, haha :)
