SKS Plays Civil War Generals 2 - Episode 1 - WAAAAAAAR!

We start fighting because we don't like the colors they have on. Lets see what happens Blackburn's Ford.

On 16 July, 1861, the untried Union army under Brig. Gen. Irvin McDowell, 35,000 strong, marched out of the Washington defenses to give battle to the Confederate army, which was concentrated around the vital railroad junction at Manassas. The Confederate army, about 22,000 men, under the command of Brig. Gen. P.G.T. Beauregard, guarded the fords of Bull Run. On July 18, McDowell reached Centreville and pushed southwest, attempting to cross at Blackburn's Ford. He was repulsed. This action was a reconnaissance-in-force prior to the main event at Manassas/Bull Run. Because of this action, Union commander McDowell decided on the flanking maneuver he employed at First Manassas.

Love this game, the only problem is when you play the entire civil war you could be dominating in one theater but then the other theater is not getting the attention needed. A remake would be awesome so that you could play EVERY battle of the war.

Yeah, that actually brings the battle numbers down more accurately. I felt like as an LP that it would be fun to see how the enemy was countering me and to make me look like a military genius. Which I totally fail at.

The game is more fun with full visability turned off. part of the challenge is to locate the enemy with scouts and figure out what they are doing.

You should do a video of the battle of Gettysburg. Considering the battle of Gettysburg was the turning point of the Civil War. Great game all together and I still have it..

I have a Zip file for the game that I know that works, I did my playthrough of this game on a Virtual Machine since it was being grumpy on Windows 7, I can show you how to run a virtual machine if you need me too.
