@JusticeYouWant2010 Oh it still uses 421 SD & 3 speed and posi 4.30:1 in car and has a power shift semi auto as well, cool, since that is the way it was raced ! Wow ! What a find.

This is the one that was found. Someone put it on Ebay, for $500, and ended up with $226,521.00. The 1963 Pontiac Tempest Lemans 421 SD, lost and found, great story. Stan Antlocer did a 1/4 mile in 11.87 seconds @ 123.95 MPH ! "World's Fastest Tempest" ! He took out Power Shift, and put in posi rear end, 4.30:1 and three speed tranny. great to see it found and restored with 421 SD and Power Shift semi auto. This car is worth around $600,000.00. Pontiac = Legendary, (Factory Racing/Muscle Cars)!

Great Video. September 1963, 1963 Pontiac Tempest Lemans , "Running Bear" ran 1/4 mile in 11.89 seconds @ 123.28 MPH, the Prototype of the upcoming new/first Muscle Car; Pontiac GTO, ( Pontiac Engineers/Knafel Pontiac ). Some of these first/very rare factory 1963 tempests were station wagons, better traction, Arnie Beswick blew away the new 1964 426 HEMIS and 1964 Ford ThunderBolts 427s, with Swiss Cheese Catalina, tempest Station wagon and Tempest Lemans 421 SD cars, just LEGEDARY !
