On board Parkzone P-51D Gunfighter 26 Dec 09

I spent the afternoon with the great group of guys at the Mt. Elim RC club in Lumberton, NC. Here is a little on board video from my Parkzone P-51 Gunfighter. In a few places you can see another P-51 that was being flown by a young man (ashamed to say how young because he is already a better pilot than me) who had his Gunfighter on its maiden flight. This was my 3rd visit with the guys at Mt. Elim and I like it so much that I joined today. This is truly a "fly anything" club. On a given day you may see anything from giant scale 3D planes to small foamies to helis. They even have a dirt track for RC cars as well. Check out their website at www.greatslip.com

Nice looking club and great flying. I still love my gunfighter even alongside the 109 and T-28. Maidening an Exceed Rc F-22 EDF tomorrow! Can't wait. I'm also expecting an aerial camera in the next week so I can start doing some aerial footage.

They really are great guys. There is no "snobbery" that I have heard so much about from other clubs where if you are not flying the right kind of aircraft (glow vs. electirc, balsa vs.foam, plane vs. heli) then you are frowned upon. These guys don't care as long as it flies.

It's rufus - I got the Parkzone BF-109 today, hope to get it out tomorrow. I'll probably end up getting this plane eventually, it looks awesome.

@Admiral1428 I had issues with my nosewheel, I hand launched it (see my vid), but I saw a Habu at our club that took off from the grass fine, I was impressed!
