The S8 is an entirely different car from the W12 A8. The "S" has a high tech aluminum frame. the Lambo V10 and it's BUILT FOR SPEED; whereas the A8 W12 is built on the standard A8 chassis with some refinements over the V8 version. The W12 is designed to be an "Executive" cruiser that's powerful, luxurious and manages roads with an almost "fly by wire" suspension unique to the 6.0 A8 only! It's a stunning performer in it's own right.

@MOSKRI100 Normally the S8 has the same HP as the W12 (450HP). But because it has a smaller, lighter engine (V10 vs. W12) and a smaller and lighter body (S8 comes only in a standard wheelbase configuration and W12 only comes in a longer wheelbase version) even a stock S8 would always win. The main point of the W12 is smoothness, not speed.
