Rachel Alexandra - The Season 09 Super Filly

2009 Horse of the Year and Champion 3-year-old filly - This filly is one of my all-time favorites. Simply amazing.
She might not be Ruffian, but does she have to be? My answer is no. Legends come and go, and just because one is unforgettable does not mean that there cannot be a new one on the rise.

She won all her 8 starts as a 3-year-old with class, setting new records in one way or another and that is enough for me. Rachel is fantastic. This video is a tribute to her and her achievements.

hah! she is NO ruffian thats for sure but she IS the only horse since ruffian to EVER touch one of ruffians records!

i rekon rachel alexandra and zenyatta were sent by ruffian to show boys that girls are just as good as them!
