Just showing what can it do.
All the channels has the same VCO, so they are basically the same. In preset mode each channel have different settings for each drum sound. You can put it in manual mode, then you can edit all the parameters. It is what I did.

  • i like to see the back in puts...out puts for the pads.

  • Great demonstration of the sounds and capabilities! This video helped me decide to trade my Yamaha DD-12 for an SDS-8 with bright red pads. Sadly 1 channel receives trigger signals but doesn't generate sound. Another channel seems to only make sound in user mode. Other than that it's a great unit. One of these days I'll get it to a technician and have it serviced.

I'm not a drummer so I just traded the red pads and stands for nearly mint condition Pearl DRX-1. No knobs but simmilar sounds!

  • I learned to play drums on a Simmons sds 8 kit, I had the red backed drum pads with

  • @TR0jAX no but it does have a MIDI in so you can trigger sounds from a sequencer.

  • @MrDunkJunk you ever see "police academy"? Michael Winslow dosent need the kit, he does the sounds himself... :)
