now are these things ment to race against the hpi,traxxas and associated trucks and are they as fast as the slash or faster.

Yeah, they are meant to race against these cars, as for the speed I don't know as I have never seen the over cars race.

i can tell u right now i race at hot rod hobbies with slash blitz and more if ur racing on dirt DONT USE THE ORIGNAL TIRES they do bot have traction ur truck will spin i only use the stoxk tires for street racing

i run mine with a 23 tooth pinion and a 88 tooth spur gear with a 2s 24c lipo and a 2s 20 c lipo and i blow by slashes all the time straight aways and it handels better i recomend running 45 weight shok oil in the front and 40 in the back
