The Iowa Hawkeyes wrestling program is one of the most storied in NCAA Division I athletics. Based in Iowa City, Iowa, the University of Iowa Hawkeyes are a member of the Big Ten Athletic Conference. The Hawkeyes are currently the reigning NCAA Wrestling Champions. Iowa is second in NCAA history with 23 national championships, all of which have come since 1975. Sports Illustrated recently named the Iowa program one of the top sports dynasties of the 20th century.

Realistically, all those who are talking trash about the mentality required in this level of sport are those who couln't hack it. Why hate? If you can't hang with it then that's cool, it's not for everyone... there's no reason to talk trash especially when you wouldn't say a damn word if you met them face to face. im 23 and i would rather watch youth and high school than this college shit its so boring to watch ive seen guy in the program i was in that had the best tools that couldnt win but they had terrible mentel toughness ive seen alot of guys with alot of different stratigies but if u arent mentaly tough its total worhtless
