The launch of my latest book, Coming of Age: A Decade of Essays 2001-2011.

Description: As a 19-year old student, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad emerged as a voice of Malaysia's youth during the Reformasi period. Seven years later, he became the youngest elected representative in the historical 2008 General Elections. As a writer and politician, he has been vocal in articulating his vision for a better Malaysia, covering a wide variety of topics including politics, economics, law and religion.

This collection of over 40 essays spanning a decade between 2001 to 2011 provides a unique window into not only Nik Nazmi's coming of age, but also of Malaysia's Reformasi movement as it was transformed from a protest movement to a government-in-waiting and guardians of the vision for a more inclusive Bangsa Malaysia. Despite the momentous events of the years chronicled in these pages, the author's call for justice and freedom remains a constant. This is the author's second book after Moving Forward: Malays for the 21st Century published in 2010.
