I think on that day, so many people finally understood what love truly is. it is sacrifice for those dearest to you. for most, that circle of friends is very small, for those rare and blessed few, it is the whole of the human race. I feel certain that saint peter met them at the gate, and ushered them in with tears in his eyes.
