To those IFAs and to others considering placing any money on the IoM, this short film asks "do you think the IoM Government has acted decently, honestly and appropriately"? Would you want to risk your reputation, your company profits or even your livelihood by placing any money there?

I feel terribly for those of you who lost life savings. Even for those of you with wealth to lose (lucky you), I still think what the UK did was heartless.

I hope you do get your cash back out of Nu Labour before they get kicked out.

However, I don't imagine the Manx Government's going to work harder for you just because of a series of YouTube comedy vids with a few hundred views each which slag them off.

I don't have a serious alternative for you but these vids are plain undignified.

Tony Brown, Chief Minister of the IoM, & his colleagues can spin as much as they like to create the illusion that all is well on the IoM. but the IoM is going down the pan as an offshore financial centre because it has no bank of last resport, a crap compensation scheme, no integrity, is morally bankrupt, nepotistic & totally self-seeking in its efforts to suck in money to keep its budget in surplus.

I can't think of too many professions where you can continually do a lousy job and not only KEEP the job but be paid an extortionate amount of money in the process. Oh... and if you lie, cheat and steal you'll probably be paid a bonus! The financial industry is a disgrace.

Although promised DCS cover when depositing in KSFIoM now reading about the extended cock up which the DCS Scheme Manager / Liquidator have created it looks unlikely that anyone will receive their DCS claim in the near future. IoMG must be rubbing their hands with glee as the liquidator pays out 1st payment on 4th Sept, ahead of them parting with a penny of DCS money. Compensation, what compensation? Dream on it's a loan which is promised but never comes. Rotten smell, I think so!!!!!!!

Don't bank on the IOM. When the going gets tough they'll run a mile. Their laughable Depositors Compensation Scheme reverts to a measly 20k in October.
