hi. i have a question for you. ummm whats the difference between how men and woman talk in japanese?

Wow, that's kinda complicated. The biggest difference is in terms of self reference, words used for "I" are totally different between men and women. Women also use different sentence endings a lot, adding "-wa" as an exclamation and so on (although apparently in Osaka, dudes do this as well). The main thing is self reference. If you have a Johnson, NEVER say "atashi", and only say "watashi" if you are talking to someone you absolutely need to show total respect to.

Hey Luciditi, I'm loving your vids too! I have no idea how it got to 3000... I put it down to a few things:

- I have a niche, that being that I vlog in Japanese, which is still rare on YouTube, so I have a lot of Japanese subcribers

- I did some vids that people want to see on how I learned Japanese and how I recommend learning English

- A long time ago, when I had about 100 subs, I had a vid featured, that got me 3-400 subs

- I interact with the community here, that counts for a lot

hmmmm. very interesting lol ty. the reason i asked was cause i just started learning japanese. its been a huge goal of my life to move to japan and live there and learn the language. i've been watching your videos for some time and your a great insperation for someone like me and probably a bunch of other people. thanks for all the tips and such its been a great help lol : )
