  • you need to get on to an education site & look up what an ITAS tutor is before you cast judgement.. we may not finish school some of us mob but a dam lot of us still try & make see that our kids of today do. i work in a school 5 days per week & i didnt finish school but i can read and write and that's what our kids need not some lar-de-da uni graduate saying this is how you gonna work. ITAS workers bring culture aswell as reading and writing skills. that something alot more than most can do.

  • what are you on??? i am a proud aboriginal person working in a classroom 5 days a week and know of approximately 300 friends that are Aboriginal and Torres Strait origin that are too. Have a look on an education website to see what a ITAS tutor does and what it means and what qualifies you to be one before being so judgemental. this is the stereotype that my mob are sick and tired of thanks.

  • well done Lynda !! You know, I wonder when David said last week that Indigenous people didn't teach about indigenous studies - is that why, because they are less likely to finish high school, let alone go to uni for a minimumof four years to be able to teach others ?
