    Perhaps you know this, maybe you don't. Record Companies routinely required their artists to lip-synch because the were afraid the artist would forget the lyrics, play out of tune here and there, etc. The only group that I can think of that may not have lip-synched is NRBQ, because they would frequently fly off into weird addlibs, with some truely odd piano riffs. I love them by the way. :)
