This is an original Boss DS-1 distortion pedal, circuit bent and sounds amazing!

Description:

Channel switch 1: Low Frequency Oscillation

Channel switch 2: High Frequency Oscillation

Channel switch 3: Feedback Loop Oscillation

Channel switch 4: Dirty Voltage Controlled Tremelo Boost

Channel switch 5: Volume Controlled Distortion Starve

Channel switch 6: Voltage Starved Fuzz

When all the spdt switches are in the "off" position, you have an original boss ds-1.

Can be used as a standalone synth in modes one or two.

  • no offense, but I wish that I could hear you demos with delay, it messes up what I am trying to comprehend

  • I think you should make external pedal for that oscillation thing like you could just rock it with foot on stage. so you wouldn't need to reach knob. anyway great thing.

  • the bends sounds really great. how did you do them: kit, schematics, etc?

  • I want this badly

  • Thanks thats a great pedal to show what can be done. May I ask where you found the tremelo bend point? Are you using trimmers for the voltage starves? I have done 3 of these all different to find the best diodes / coupling and tone cap options, but that tremelo boost is great. I have found a huge clean boost with tiny amount of dist, though. How could one control the frequency range of feedback?

    Best wishes, J

  • Sounds pretty interesting!

  • What kind of reverb/delay unit are you using with this?

  • What kind of delay/reverb pedal are you using with this?
