The Classic Beauty as she is named as the late Betty Loh stars in her only horror movie ; potraying a pretty ill-fated spirit controlled by a evil demontress.The moive was later yrs later remade with super spc effects. Here with her is the late Zhao Lei who was one of the popular actors who's been cast as either Emperor or Scholar in most of his movies. Their memories is forever captured in this great epic by know director , the late Li Hang Hsiang. God rest their souls.

@MultiOperafan Good question! The resolution here is PERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL! I saw the entire film years ago on a VCR tape which I checked out on a whim in a public library in a non-Chinese (kind of Jewish) neighborhood in Los Angeles. The film is inspired by a first story of 聊齋誌異.

Cette scène apparaît aussi dans le jeu vidéo Mystère au palais d'été qui raconte l'histoire la concubine Fleur de Lotus enlevée par l'impératrice jalouse de sa liaison amoureuse avec Xianfeng. Mythe ou Réalité? J'aimerai bien trouver le texte de base sur lequel s'appuie cette histoire. S'appuie t elle sur les écrits d'un philosophe du 7 ème siècle louant les vertues des fleurs de lotus ou cet amour a -t-il bien existé pour l'empereur Xianfeng ???
