very well stated. thanks for explaining it as judgmental, churchy, or as a hierarchical gesture.

I try not to let words hurt me, just like when someone calls me a "fag" or a "queer", but the term "fluffy" can hurt. I don't like the term, and I know people that like to call those that are new to the Craft "fluffy", and to me, that just shows a bad image. Witches not only walk between the worlds and connect with the Divine in nature, but they are also teachers, and they are wise, and calling a "newbie" a "fluffy bunny" is hurtful. Great points, and great vid Amanda! Blessed Be )o(

@avalonmoon91 I disagree. The shadows tend to be much more interesting, unless of course, you're using "shadows" as a metaphor for evil. If that's the case, I think you would find an appreciation for Darker paths. "Darkness" as "evil" is not part of a nature-based path, and if included in such, is counterproductive.
I actually very rarely encounter "fluffy bunny" type pagan. I meet a lot more self proclaimed "experts" who don't know any more than I do but set themselves up as "elders".

@NeoDarkArckan It's like saying "day is better than night". The Darkness of space, the darkness of the womb, the entire "Yin" frequency. Winter. Magik, Mystery, The Night, The Autumn Leaves Falling, Wolves (fascinating majestic creatures, that they are) Bats, all of these and much more -- that is Darkness.
