where did you buy the HKS T04 Kit??

Hardly, its a HKS turbo kit. HKS T04r turbo, HKS manifold, HKS wastegate. It in its time was not cheap and performs very well. These days it is a bit more laggy than the new turbos out there.

hey man just curious, I am planning on installing a simisal HKS TO4R setup in my FD soon but I would just like to know what the lag is like with this turbo, when does boost really start to kick in...I am also considering the apexi single turbo kit also... thanks...

Anything done to the motor? street port? rebuilt? How much boost that bov sounds sick!!

The motor was ticketed and build by pettit racing. 3mm apex seals street ported.

after we drove my friends second gen which took 6 months to install the new turboed motor we decided that the lag is like foreplay and when the boost kicks in its the sex.

you need an = balance of lag vs power. I personally like a little lag because it is fun to play with as you said 'its forplay' but I dont like 6k rpm lag lol
