  • Exactly !!! But with a slight Scriabinist touch perceptible through the spicy irregular rhythms.

  • It sounds as if Kirchner got a Rachmaninoff piece and squeezed all the the Chopin out of it, leaving all the delicious modern essence you so crave while listening to Rachmaninoff. And bravo to Dr. Tammy Lum: an outstanding performance.
