I hate to be critical, but these actors are miscast for the role. Their obvious age difference just messes up the dynamic for me. And the actor looks too young for the role. When Rose says that Troy should not be having an affair "at your age", the line loses its intended impact.

The community college this was shot at has a very shallow pool of actors. They were practicing their lines for their class when this was shot, and this was never meant to be a professional production, so there is no set, and no other scenes were done.

Dnt get offended dude im jus sayin that it seemed rushed and if u want me to post the one my class did then sure i will, no problem...n it does seem like bad reviews bug u but if u want to get all heated abt it fine...look for the vid in a week.

It was very rushed, I got the footage, loaded it in, and pieced it together in 5 hours using the script that was provided. I edited it the best that I could, and if I were to have full creative control and a budget to work with, I'm sure I would compose those shots better than what was provided. But, then again this was done by some students and an amatuer editor (me), and when people post their comments, I expect to have some bad reviews sometimes, it goes with the business..

When you type a message that is a comment on what I created, sure I'l take it personally good or bad, and I would take it as if you are basically talking to me in person. So when you make a comment, I can directly respond to you, and I don't mean to sound offended, I just said bring it to the table, I'll review your work and we'll see who did a better job. Your comment sounds like a challenge to me, so if you have better, post it on the tube dude.

O.K., I'll agree, not the best, BUUTTT,... I didn't shoot or direct this peice. The raw footage was brought to me by a friend who was taking Mass Comm classes at the local community college, we edited it down and he got an A for it. As for the "better job" you did in high school, why don't you post a link to your video so we can see it? That goes out to all of the people who want to say they could do it better,... just do it! Bad reviews don't offend me, but I would like to see your version.

The age difference is obvious but I enjoyed it even without the set! The guy playing Troy actually held his character pretty well and was believable. Thanks for helping me remember my lines!!
